| Aims: | Research on Alcohol-Related Public Policies such as Those Detailed in the Alcohol Policy Information System (R03).This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) issued by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), solicits grant applications from institutions/organisations to conduct research on the effects of alcohol-related public policies on health-related behaviours and outcomes, evaluations and analyses of the effectiveness of public policy measures in improving public health and reducing the burden of alcohol-related illness and mortality, and research to advance methods and measurement used in studying relationships between alcohol-related public policies and health-related behaviours and outcomes. |

| Description: | PA-07-429.This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) will use the NIH Small Research Grant (R03) award mechanism. The applicant will be solely responsible for planning, directing, and executing the proposed project. This FOA uses “Just-in-Time” information concepts. It also uses the modular as well as the non-modular budget formats (see the “Modular Applications and Awards” section of the NIH Grants Policy Statement. All applications submitted in response to this FOA must use the modular budget format. |
