| Aims: | The mission of NETSCC is to provide a single research management centre meeting the stakeholder needs of the research programmes it coordinates, and providing scientific quality to all aspects of the research management process. |
| General Information: | The SDO programme commissions research on a range of themes concerned with the organisation and delivery of health services. Our key criteria for selecting and prioritising research areas are: * Is there an expressed need and importance for the research in the NHS management community? * Is there evidence that there will be sustained interest in this area in the future, so research results will remain relevant and useful? NETSCC was formally established in April 2008 with the flexibility to take on the emerging challenges in the Cooksey Review. The Cooksey Review of health research funding, published in December 2006, sets out recommendations to ensure publicly funded research is carried out in the most efficient way |
